Abstract
Carve a small, familiar Buddha that is large enough to hold in your hand. Each sculpture is about 18 cm high. Shoshin Jizo, Kobutsu Jizo, and Byakui Kannon. Shoshin jizo is a Buddhist statue carved by a person who holds a chisel for the first time. Kobutsu Jizo is a Buddhist statue that can be easily carved, and each was named by the author. All important drawings and photographs during the production process were aligned to the actual height. Photographs from the front, left and right sides, back, and in some cases diagonally from the front are also shown in full size. The details are also photographed and the order is followed for each process. If you carve it that way, even beginners of sculpture can surely finish it. Shoshin Jizo had 230 photos, Kobutsu Jizo had 260 photos, and Byakui Kannon had 160 photos, and explanations were given for each photo. A woman over 70 years old has been attending the author's classroom for nearly three years. She enjoyed music and played musical instruments, but she began to want to make something that remained in shape. This woman carved three bodies, including her first Jizo, and ten more in a row. She says it's fun to come to the classroom.
