The book also includes recipes related to their memories and Shima's career history.

Author’s Information

Shima Tassin was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1979. She graduated from Tsuji Culinary Institute in Abeno, Osaka, and the group's French school. After training at a three-star French restaurant, she worked as a chef at long-established French restaurants in Japan for 15 years. In 2015, she married her husband, Roman, and began working as a freelance housekeeper. Her ability to prepare over 10 dishes in three hours using household ingredients earned her a reputation as the "legendary housekeeper who is impossible to book."

Roman Tassin was born in Le Bourget, France, in 1993. He became interested in Japan after watching an anime at the age of nine. After working in electrical engineering and renovation, he came to Japan in 2013 to study Japanese. He met Shima at a part-time job and married her in 2015. After working in restaurants and other establishments, he quit his job after the birth of their first and second children to support Shima's work and focus on housework and childcare. Their third child was born in 2021.
