Abstract
Our long-selling book has been updated for the first time in 10 years to help the readers acquire skills for surviving the VUCA era through a 90-minute reading. The book introduces all the know-how of strategic consultants to share a "roadmap for thinking" in uncertain times.
Logical thinking is no doubt an essential way of thinking to make smart decisions because it employs the “mece (=mutually exclusive collectively exhaustive)” framework. But by nature, logical thinking can only be based on past incidents and information at hand, which in some cases can be a drawback. Sometimes it is necessary to forget about being exhaustive to derive a wide range of scenarios, and to prepare plans B and C when things go wrong.
This book is rich in examples and cases as well as training that you can start today.
