Abstract

If a mother talks to her children appropriately,
- she will be able to build a trusting relationship with her children.
- they will acquire study habits.
- their self-esteem will increase.
And the mother herself will feel at ease.

"The casual words of a mother repeated hundreds or thousands of times in daily life, have a tremendous impact on her children, who grow up listening to them all the time." - from "Introduction"

Ryoko Sato, a.k.a. "Sato Mama," reveals the essential know-how on "talking to children" she has gained in her 26 years of child-rearing. She has successfully had her three sons and a daughter admitted to Natural Sciences 3 at the University of Tokyo, one of the most challenging faculties in Japan.
