Abstract

"Where does the food that goes into your mouth go?" A boy boards a mysterious train and embarks on a great adventure inside his own body. Leaving the "Mouth Station," the train plummets down the "Esophageal Tunnel" like a roller coaster. He follows what happens to the food he eats as he goes on a thrilling adventure along the long "Small Intestine Line" and the "Large Intestine Main Line" where bacteria fight each other. Supervised by a pediatrician, this picture book helps children learn about the workings of the body and the importance of diet in a fun way. At the end of the story, there is also a "Body Exploration Train: The Rosenthals," which introduces the digestive system of the body.
