Abstract
Wednesday. Dad moved out today. Father and mother divorced. The house became two houses. The main character, Lenko, is an 11-year-old girl. Through the penetrating eyes of this girl, who is both a parties concerned and an excellent observer, the reality of a child caught up in her parent's divorce is vividly portrayed along with the emotional state of a sensitive young girl in Kyoto in the 1980s. This masterpiece, which won the first Hatoju Muku Children's Literature Award, has been revived with new illustrations by Yoshitomo Nara.

He is awriter and a critic. He won the first Hatoju Muku Children's Literature Award for "Moved Out" and the Sankei Children's Literature Publishing Culture Award JR Prize for "Gomen(I'm Sorry)."
