Cyril hates Christmas. His father and mother are always away at Christmas, his mother is busy working at the department store, and his father goes away and never returns. He debuted in 2004 with "Tewofuru Tewofuru(手をふる手をふる)," and in 2014 made her debut with "Dorobo no Dorobon(どろぼうのどろん)" a long story. He won the 48th Association of Children's Literature New Writers Award and the 64th Shogakukan Children's Publishing Culture Award for the same work.
