Abstract

A mysterious fireball fell on Mt. Hachiman and disappeared, leaving a deep and huge hole. Soon after, massive cave-ins occurred here and there in my town.
There is a sense of doom. Still, I can't help but worry about the midterm exam and the distance between Kubota and me.
Slowly closing the space with her, I try to take control of the situation and ride out the delusion.
This is a remarkable coming-of-age novel that portrays with overwhelming reality the days of a high school student, me, in the face of a crisis that quietly looms.
