Abstract

One month after entering junior high school.
Mari receives a confession of love from Shingo, a boy in her class. However, Mari is hurt when she finds out it was a punishment. On the other hand, Miyuki understands Mari's difficulty fitting in with the class and supports her and her childhood friend, Chihiro. The four begin to take on a challenge for themselves and their friends. This is a sweet and sour yet refreshing coming-of-age novel about overcoming various difficulties and obstacles to grow up strong.
