Author’s Information
Born in Tokyo, 1968. He left Tohoku University, Graduate School of Letters with doctoral course requirements and completed the doctoral course at the Graduate School of History and Folklore Documentation, Kanagawa University. Currently a special researcher at the Research Institute for Japanese Folk Culture, Kanagawa University, and a part-time lecturer at the Tokai University Faculty of Letters. His major is historical folklore documentation. He has written numerous books that vividly depict emperors, aristocrats, and common people in the dynastic period. They include "Onmyoji (yin-yang diviner) and Aristocratic Society," "The Cursed City of Heian-kyo," "The Loneliness of Emperors," "The Marriage of Princess Kaguya," "Murasaki Shikibu's Fathers," and "The Dynastic Period of the Low-ranking Aristocrats.
