Abstract
When you think about it, cats have always been there at the turning points of life. After a turbulent life, the author found her final home in Karuizawa. She started out with two cats, but before she knew it, she had five. The most special cat was her ally Momiji, who has been with her through the rough seas of life. In the middle of the serialization, it was discovered that Momiji was suffering from a certain illness. The NHK program "Nekomentary: Cats and Shakushi Mo," in which the author and her cats appeared, also became a big topic of conversation. The behind-the-scenes story of the filming is also revealed. This book is a hugely popular essay that caused a storm of sympathy and emotion on Twitter.
