Author’s Information

Born in Toyama Prefecture in 1975. In 2010, she received an honorable mention at the 1st Sougen SF Short Story Award for "Udon with a Fox". In 2016, she won the Grand Prize at the 2nd Fumiko Hayashi Literature Award for "The Island by the Sun." Hers books include "Objectum", "Where I Was", and "Come Gather Round People".
She won the 163rd Akutagawa Prize (2022) for Shuri no Uma, published by Shinchosha.
