Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1946. Certified psychologist and clinical psychologist. She is the author of many books, including "Family and Nation Conspire, From Survival to Resistance" and "Adult Children" by Gakugei Mirai Publishing. Co-authored with Chizuko Ueno, Marriage Teikoku Onna no Forked Road, and her latest book is a dialogue with Yoko Uema titled "After Losing Words" (Chikuma Shobo), "How to let go of tough love bonds" (dZERO).
