Eiyu Murakoshi: He is the head priest of the Myoshinji Buddhism of the Rinzai school, Ryounji temple (Shizuoka prefecture), and a missionary of the same Buddhism. Born in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1957, he completed a master's course at Nishogakusha University Graduate School. He entered Ryuzo-ji temple and studied under the late master Songen Nakagawa and the late master Sotrust Suzuki. He writes about Buddhism in general and Zen-related topics with the themes of "kindly", "easily", and "joyfully". He has written many books, including "The Truly Important 'Funeral'" (Daihōrinkaku), "The Words of a Monk that Instantly Dissolve Worries" (Takarajima Sha), and "The Secrets of a Monk" (PHP Institute). He is also an illustrator.
