Abstract

Months pass as small events accumulate, and our daily lives become history. In a corner of the history, I now live with my short tail wagging__
It has been 15 years since Toko Sawada's first book, "Kyoto Hanrnari Gurashi (Quite Beautiful Life in Kyoto)" was published, and this is her first collection of essays since her debut as a writer. Born and raised in Kyoto, where she still lives, she enjoys food, is fascinated by travel, loves art, and ponders the history of idle life. And all of these things become her reason and food for spinning a story. "I love to know what I don't know", the author says. She describes various events she encountered in Kyoto, with full of wit and humor.
