Abstract
"Sitting just to sit," not to attain enlightenment. This book elaborates on the theory based on practice about how to achieve "Shikantaza," a form of Zazen meditation proposed by Dogen (1200-1253), the founder of the Soto school of Zen in Japan. Beginning with an explanation of Buddha's meditation, this volume provides insights into the true form of Zazen. It offers practical guidelines and in-depth understanding for those seeking to engage with this profound form of Zen practice.
