Born in Kanagawa Prefecture. Won the Junior Adventure Novel Prize for Suiyō no mori (Forest of the water sprite) and the Utsunomiya Children's Prize for Korei no ori (Cage of the fox spirit). She is best known for her Zenitendo series (Kaiseisha).
