Abstract
Work etiquette is full of “why?”
Why do you say "Thank you for your continued support" to someone you've never met before?
Why did you get angry when I said "I understand"?
Why should I apologize if it wasn't my mistake?
Why do I need permission from my boss to take paid vacation?
Why are you always warned about honorific language and wording?
If you learn useful manners, work won't be scary!
