Abstract

Tsubaki Komori, a 27 year-old office worker. Suddenly, a pure white dove comes to the balcony of a studio apartment where she lives by herself. The pigeon seems to be injured and shows no sign of flying away. She had no choice but to take care of it. A few days later, she grows attached to the white pigeon. On her way home, a mysterious man makes a strange declaration to her. "You are to be the ‘Pigeon Guardian’ after me which is your destiny"—

Born in Betsukai, Hokkaido in 1979. In 2012, she won the 46th Hokkaido Shimbun Literary Award (Creation and Criticism Category) for ``Tohsuuiji,'' in 2014 she won the Ayako Miura Literary Award for ``Gufuu no Oh,'' and in 2015 she won the JRA Equestrian Culture Award for the same work. Won the 21st Oyabu Haruhiko Award for ``Nikudan''. Received the Nitta Jiro Award for ``Tsuchi ni Aganau.''
