Abstract

An educational book that parents and children can play together with lots of animals that children love! In addition to the picture book page that introduces the names and characteristics of animals with cute illustrations, there are also lots of fun educational pages such as mazes, spot-the-difference, picture-finding, and reasoning quizzes. ●Encyclopedia of over 50 species including lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, serval cat, zebra, elephant, impala, giraffe, rhinoceros, meerkat, mongoose, porcupine, hippopotamus, crocodile, flamingo, gorilla, chimpanzee, ring-tailed lemur, aye-aye, etc. ●Educational maze, Amidakuji, picture search, numbers (e.g., how many flamingos are there?), reasoning (e.g., what animal can you see through a telescope?), puzzles, words (crosswords), aiueo table

(Supervisor) Etsuo Narushima Born in 1949 in Tochigi Prefecture. After serving as the director of Inokashira Natural Culture Garden, he became a visiting professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University. His major publications include ``Rare Animal Encyclopedia'' (1914, Happy Owl Publishing), ``Zoo Guide for Adults'' (editor, 2011, Yokendo), and ``Animals'' (NEO POCKET Encyclopedia 5, 2011, Shogakukan). Currently, I am interested in conducting field surveys of bullfights (bull sumo) held throughout Japan.
