Ryota Hosoya
Ryota Hosoya was born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1948. He is the head of the pediatric department and the deputy director at St. Luke's International Hospital. As a pediatrician, he has specialized in pediatric cancer. After graduating from Tohoku University School of Medicine, he started working at the pediatric department at St. Luke's International Hospital. He later served at the pediatric department of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas for advanced cancer treatment training. He returned to the pediatric department at St. Luke's International Hospital and is actively involved in camp activities and writing activities with children suffering from cancer. His specialty areas include pediatric hematology-oncology and child health. He has written a book titled "It Will Be Alright." (published by Kosei Publishing).
