Abstract

Yume loves to draw pictures. Pencil, the pencil dog, leads him into Dream City, an imaginary town that he has drawn. Together with Yume, explore 12 worlds (with themes of future, space, sweets, sky, green, underground, sea, toys, Japanese-style, magic, water, and arts & crafts) filled with dreams and excitement! A highly imaginative picture book, first drawn in pen by a very popular illustrator on social media.

Author’s Information

Born in Niigata Prefecture in 2001, lives in Tokyo. Picture book author and illustrator. I love sharks and water creatures, traveling and walking around town, mountain climbing, inns, coffee shops, and retro things. Currently enrolled in the Department of Graphic Design at Tama Art University. He made his debut as a picture book writer in his third year of university. His picture book works include ``Exciting Science Encyclopedia Paleozoic Aquarium'' (Oizumi Shoten) and ``ABCity, the Town of Food'' (Shogakukan Shueisha Productions). This is the first picture book using analog pen drawings.
