Abstract

"When I talk about things like this, I think it's possible to live no matter how you feel.''
The 22 fans of 22 soccer teams head to ``that day'' for the final game of the second division league, each with their own thoughts in mind. The irreplaceable joy of ordinary people, such as an office worker who is worried about interpersonal relationships at work, a family who has decided to support a different team, a high school boy who wants to get closer to the senior he admires, and a grandmother and grandchild who are reunited for the first time in more than 10 years.
A collection of short stories that vividly depicts the world through soccer. At the time of publication, this paperback version of the work received overwhelming praise, with numerous book reviews and introductions published in nearly 30 media outlets, and also won the 6th Soccer Book Award.
