Abstract

This book turns the problem-solving skills honed by strategic consultants through years of experience into techniques. The key to breaking through stalled projects is to set the problem-solving issue. It is possible to set the issue, but the issue you set initially does not necessarily capture the essence of the problem. This is why the act of continually reviewing the issue, or "sharpening," is important. This book provides a detailed explanation of the difficult process of "sharpening" to find the issue that truly needs to be resolved, with five steps.
