Abstract
It is said that a person's "imagination" greatly develops between the ages of 5 and 12. Author’s Information
Born in 1947 in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Visiting Professor at Otemon Gakuin University. Former Professor at Kagoshima University. Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto University. During his student years, he excelled as a tennis player and participated in the All Japan Championships. He obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a visiting researcher at the Sports Science Division of the United States Olympic Committee, he was involved in data analysis of Olympic athletes. His specialties include clinical sports psychology and physical education methodology. He has a deep understanding of ability development and has authored numerous brain training books. He has also written columns on ability development for various exam and business magazines, including "Shinken Zemi" (Benesse Corporation), "President" (President Inc.), and "Nikkei Business Associe" (Nikkei BP Inc.). He delivers lectures around 70 to 80 times per year, mainly for major listed companies, on these topics. He has written over 150 books, including the best-selling "Study Techniques" (Science Eye Shinyaku), with a total circulation of over 2.5 million copies. He is a member of the Japan Society of Sport Psychology and the Japan Society of Physical Education.
