Abstract
Listening to music through subscription services has taken root in Japan, albeit late, and the main battleground for music marketing has completely shifted to the digital field. However, digital marketing know-how specific to the genre of music has not yet been established, and the current situation is that each player is trying to put it into practice on an ad hoc basis. Therefore, this book summarizes the basics of digital marketing in a "music-specific format,'' and is aimed at not only musicians and office/record company staff, but also those who want to get involved in music outside of the existing music industry. Provides practical use for all players. Commentators will be provided by Norikazu Yamaguchi and Takashi Wakita, who lead Japan's music digital marketing and host the "Music Marketing Boot Camp.'' We generously disclose our real know-how and mindset backed by experience. With this book in hand, please take on the challenge of creating a hit without relying on an organization! The paper version will come with an NFT bonus digital booklet (excerpts from this book, long version of the author's interview, MID3M report) limited to the first edition, and a mini-test that anyone can participate in will be held on a special site.
