Abstract

Their night doesn't end...

A collision between a foreign car and a minicar occurs at an intersection late at night. The driver of the foreign car reports the accident. The minicar is crushed like a rolled up piece of paper, and the driver is killed. It is thought that the cause was a ignoring of traffic signals, but there are no witnesses, and the passenger in the foreign car claims that the other party was at fault. Meanwhile, the dead driver's high school-aged sister, who miraculously escaped unscathed, was riding in the back seat of the car, but she was blind. However, she proves her brother's innocence in an amazing way ("Angel's Ears").

A series of suspense stories that vividly depict the complex human drama swirling behind the traffic accidents that occur day and night, and the traffic police officers who do their best to find out the cause! A special edition that includes the author's own commentary, "Afterword for the First Time in Ten Years."
