Abstract
Perhaps doctors and train drivers are the professions that see people die the most... so many people die on the railways, according to the staff on the ground. In fact, everyone has probably heard some railroad-related ghost stories at least once. Railway stations and the trains that depart and arrive there are used by many people every day. This may be why human emotions such as passion and resentment tend to accumulate, which may be the cause of various strange happenings. This book contains 33 unbelievable stories that Hiroki Terai, a ghost story collector, has heard from railway company employees and people who have experienced fear on trains and at stations. Some stories seem to be caused by the strong grudges of the dead, some are unreasonable and beyond our common sense, and some are more sad than scary. It is unclear whether these stories are real events or hallucinations of the storyteller, but it is an undeniable fact that there are people who have actually experienced them.
