Abstract
Featuring Over 150 Music Festivals in Japan!
Over 150 Festivals Listed! The Era Where Music Festivals Are Chosen as Travel Destinations Is Here!
From Japan's four major festivals—Fuji Rock, Rock in Japan, Rising Sun, and Summer Sonic—to music festivals held throughout the year across Japan, this book covers them all.
Not only can you experience live music performances, but festivals with various themes such as outdoor activities, camping, regional revitalization, disaster recovery, and environmental conservation are emerging one after another. The modern “festival” scene in Japan continues to grow, with an increasing number of festivals for not just young people but also families and seniors, as well as expectations for inbound tourism from abroad. This book comprehensively covers Japanese festival information in one volume!
Additionally, it includes interviews with festival organizers and recommends sightseeing spots to visit. Whether using a long vacation for a family trip, enjoying a group camping stay with friends, or seeking a new travel style beyond just a regular trip, this book proposes the “Festival × Travel” concept.
This is Japan’s first “Music Festival Guidebook,” packed with useful information for festival enthusiasts, those looking to participate for the first time, and anyone interested in festivals.
