This book reviews the techniques of Japanese-style judo and calls it the "six-compartment theory" based on kumite and height differences.
It is organized around the theme of how to compete with the world's best.
In each compartment, the basics of Kumite and the techniques to be utilized change.
We believe that it is necessary to establish and organize one's techniques in the 6 sections in order to respond in various situations according to one's opponent.

Author’s Information

Director and Associate Professor of Judo Club at Tokai University. He has been a top athlete since his junior days. In 2008, he became a coach of the Tokai University Judo Club, where he won an unprecedented seven consecutive championships until 2014. Born in 1974, he is well known in the judo world for his outstanding skills.
