Abstract

The Kanmon Straits separate Honshu and Kyushu. On the Kyushu side, in Moji Port, Fukuoka Prefecture, lives Asa, a high school student who resides with her mother. Asa has a favorite idol, the popular singer 'Yoru.' Despite being tone-deaf, Asa dreams of becoming a good singer someday and learns to sing from her mother, who works at a snack bar. One day, her favorite idol suddenly announces a hiatus. Then, an even more shocking truth is revealed: 'Mom is not your real mother.' It seems she was accidentally switched at birth due to an accident. In disbelief, Asa decides to visit her real mother who lives in Shimonoseki, on the other side of the strait. However, she discovers that the person she was switched with is none other than 'Yoru'... This is a story about a family becoming a family once again.

Born and residing in Yamaguchi Prefecture. In 2023, won the Grand Prize at the 15th GA Bunko Awards for 'Tokyo Yoka'. The work was retitled and debuted as 'Running with You Through the Transparent Night, and Falling in an Invisible Love'. Additionally, the same work ranked third in the New Works category of 'This Light Novel is Amazing! 2024' published by Takarajimasha. The latest work, 'When Night Breaks, Morning Comes', will be released by GA Bunko in August 2024.
