Yoshihiro YoshimuraDirector and Doctor of the Sarcopenia and Malnutrition Research Center, Kumamoto Rehabilitation HospitalBorn in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1975. While working as a surgeon, he witnessed the importance of dietary management for patients, which led him to join the Rehabilitation Department. He works with elderly patients on a daily basis. He has also obtained the European ESPEN Diploma, an internationally recognized professional qualification in clinical nutrition. /Sayuri ShimazuDeputy Director and Registered Dietitian of the Sarcopenia and Malnutrition Research Center, Kumamoto Rehabilitation Hospital***He formed a specialized nutritional management team with Dr. Yoshimura. He understands the patient's food preferences and works to improve their nutritional status.
