Author: Chie Sakashita (Sakata Chie) Culinary researcher and nutritionist. After working for a major restaurant chain, she went independent. Currently active in a wide range of fields, including books, magazines, and recipe development for corporate promotion. Her recipes are popular not only for those who eat but also for those who make them, as they are easy to prepare and have a gentle taste. She has written many books, including ``Just pack it in the morning! Lose weight with pre-prepared lunches! 389 bento lunches'' (Shinsei Publishing) and ``Vegetable-packed soups are the best treats: 100 recipes to make your body happy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner'' (Shufu to Seikatsusha). In 2006, he became a lecturer in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical School, and in 2007, he became a specially appointed assistant professor at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the University of Tokyo, before joining Ritsumeikan University in 2009. He specializes in exercise physiology. In 2021, based on many years of research, he founded OnMotion, Inc., a company that supports health.
