The 365-day activities of the NPO "Nyantomo Network Hokkaido," which rescues many cats and connects them with new families, are depicted through the eyes of the organization's mascot cat, Subaru. "Nyantomo Network Hokkaido" continues to protect cats, traveling all over the vast Hokkaido. They rescue stray cats and homeless cats, provide them with the necessary care and treatment, and train them to get used to people before transferring them to their "forever families (new owners)." At times, there are more than 100 rescued cats at Nyantomo. Born in Kushiro, Hokkaido. In 2006, he started cat protection activities after caring for a stray cat after caring for his beloved cat. He founded the group in 2012 and became an NPO in 2016. He continues to work energetically with about 200 members and volunteers. His main job is president of a company that handles industrial and craft design. He also works as a producer for jazz events.
