Chef. Born in Gion, Kyoto. Grew up with Kyoto cuisine and obanzai from childhood. Currently active as a comprehensive food coordinator, from recipe creation to styling. Has been a lecturer on CBC TV's "Kewpie 3-Minute Cooking" since 2018. Specializing in preserved foods and ready-made dishes, her book "Magic Bottled Food" (Mikasa Shobo) is a long-selling book that has sold over 100,000 copies. Other recent publications include "Everyday Ginger Recipes Made with a Ginger Shop" (Ikeda Shobo).
