Abstract

Rose loves to draw pictures.
Tomorrow is her mother's birthday.
Rose promised to give her picture to her mother as a birthday gift, but she couldn't draw a nice one.
Rose woke up before dawn and looked at the sky.
A little boy came down to her windowsill and said,
“I'm Mark. Let's go find something nice to draw in your picture.”

They jump around the town, climb up fountains, climb up towers, and so on.
They are followed by a cat, a toy king, a mermaid and a soldier.

Rose and Mark enjoy playing around a town which reminds of a beautiful old German city.
Colorful picture book with fantastical images which expands children's world of imagination.
