Abstract
"Should I buy a house or rent one?" "If I take out a loan, should I get a fixed-rate or variable-rate?" "What are the points I need to keep in mind when starting to invest with NISA?" When thinking about life planning and investment, the key to success or failure of a decision is "the ability to read the future of the economy." The author, who is a Nikkei Shimbun editorial fellow and WBS commentary caster, carefully and clearly explains how to reliably strengthen that "ability to read ahead." The approach is sixfold: "reading the market," "reading monetary policy," "reading the economy," "reading companies," "reading population decline," and "reading geopolitics." "If you can understand the rules from these six perspectives, you will be able to see the economy one step ahead, like solving a puzzle." When you come into contact with the news every day, you feel like you understand it somehow, but in fact there are few people who can properly explain the principles of the market, interest rates, and the economy. This book will turn your fragmented knowledge into systematic education.
