Abstract

It's true that people with "a few problems" can do their jobs well! Data from over 66,000 people reveals the hidden power source of high-performing talent.

In many workplaces, there are people who refuse to cooperate, are quarrelsome, and cause trouble. People who prioritize their own convenience and abandon work halfway through, leaving them with a hard time cleaning up afterward. People who get upset if they are not treated specially. People who lie to cover up problems. People who don't mind kicking others down in order to get promoted. Bosses who push their subordinates to their limits without considering their feelings... In business management and psychology, behavior that is the opposite of what is considered desirable in society is called "antisocial behavior."

The hypothesis that emerged through profiling over 400,000 people using "MARCOPOLO," an assessment tool developed by the author in the second part that quantifies the "compatibility" between people and organizations, is that "many high-performing people have strong aspects that may be considered "problematic" at first glance."

Based on these latest findings, this book explains the possibility of utilizing the relationship between high-performing human resources and antisocial tendencies in human resource development and personnel policies. Of the two sides of antisocial and prosocial tendencies that anyone can have, the one that acts prosocially is defined as "dark power," and the book explains the basic concepts and practical methods of scientific human resource development, introducing corporate examples, on how to bring about a behavioral change to prosociality and transform people into high-performing human resources and next-generation leaders who manifest as powerful positive energy, the dark triad.
