-- Kazuo Hirai, Former Sony President and CEO, Project Hope General Incorporated Association Representative Director
"A must-read that gets to the essence of change" I have seen many stagnant companies, but this book brilliantly elucidates the essence of what is hindering change. This is a book that should be read not only by managers, but also by leaders who are fighting on the ground.
-- Kazuhiko Toyama, IGPI Group Chairman
Innovation is not born, business transformation is not possible, and profit margins continue to decline. How can we overcome the dilemma of corporate transformation, where necessary change is stalled due to organizational fragmentation caused by business optimization?
This acclaimed management scholar, whose debut work, "Working with Others", garnered an unprecedented response, has presented an entirely new theory of corporate transformation that uses the unique keyword of "structural incompetence" to carefully unravel the mechanisms behind the complex problems facing many companies today and show them a way to overcome the situation.
