Abstract
Rai Sanyo's "Nihon Gaishi" had a huge influence on the aspirations of young people at the end of the Edo period. 200 years have passed since then, and we are once again facing an era of change and transformation. In this book, we take a fresh look at "Japan" and "Japanese people," and consider the future of Japan together with those who feel "uneasy living" in modern society.
