Abstract

Nearing the end of spring, Santa clipped wool from a sheep to make a fluffy scarf for Hana. He combed the wool and span yarn from it, then dyed the yarn to the right color. At last, Santa started to knit. The gift was ready before Christmas Eve. He used neither a sleigh nor a team of reindeer but set off to deliver it on foot! Climbing mountains, walking through the woods，crossing a bridge and sometimes getting lost, he finally reached Hana’s. Yes, he was “her” Santa Claus! The whole story unfolds with pictures done by exquisite embroidery. Outstanding handicraft work enhances the story.
