KASAI Mari was born in Hokkaido. She is an illustrator and author of children’s books. she is famous for her animal illustrations and for writing stories that explore children’s subtle feelings. She has published more than 100 books in Japan.
OKADA Chiaki was born in Osaka. She is an illustrator and author of children's books. Her illustrations were selected to be exhibited at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in 2010. Her art is gentle and calming.
