Abstract
No family, No ID, No money.
Mamoru’s job is to find such ideal individuals using social media.
What they seek is the family registry of such individuals forgotten by society.
Mamoru’s job is to disguise himself as a woman, use smooth talk to coax out personal details, and lure his targets into the trap.Once a deal is made, he gets paid.
One day, Mamoru receives a puzzling order from his boss — "Stay away from Takuya."
Takuya is a respected mentor and a friend of Mamory — the one who had brought Mamoru into this business. What happened to him?
The next day, Mamoru is ordered to clean Takuya’s apartment — There, he finds an overwhelming amount of blood.
The sight of the bloodstains told him everything — Takuya was gone from this world.
As Mamoru reels from the shock, a message arrives.
It’s an email—from Takuya.

From the Author
This novel expands on my award-winning short story with newly written material that delves deeper into the events and characters.
Set in Tokyo, it explores the dark world of underground businesses and the foolishness that each character carries.
Some fall into crime as if led by fate; others do so on a whim, without even realizing it.
This is a story about such “fools.”
