Abstract
Parents may be worried that they don't know how to specifically nurture their children's minds. One keyword that has come up often recently is "non-cognitive abilities." We often see claims such as, "If you develop non-cognitive abilities, your child will be successful in the future and earn a higher annual income." However, the reality is that those who promote this do not fully understand what "non-cognitive abilities" actually are, and the term is simply used as a convenient term.
