Abstract

A dialogue quietly revealing the overwhelming realities of work, success, society, the self, and death!

This book exchanges insights on the “confusion” we feel in everyday life. From Nakoshi’s remark that “the sutra itself is the answer,” the conversation touches on various aspects of living.

According to Nakoshi, humans tend to chase illusions rather than facing reality, which leads to unnecessary agitation, sadness, or anger. Yoro’s role is to show people “this is reality,” which helps stabilize the mind. Additionally, sutras can help clear the mental clutter we carry, conveying true teachings while wishing for people’s happiness.

What Nakoshi and Yoro discuss is not intended to change society but rather reflects their own “style.” They do not aim to impart lessons; rather, they hope to offer something that resonates with the heart, like a sutra.

Through this dialogue, readers can temporarily escape the confusion and anxiety of daily life and gain a fresh perspective on the mysteries of existence. As an exploration of the essence of living, this book invites readers to listen to the words of Nakoshi and Yoro.
