Abstract
"This is the perfect introduction for Japanese readers to learn about global standards." Recommended by Jamie Rosenwald, Chairman of Dalton Investments, a major shareholder in companies such as Fuji Media Holdings.
With Warren Buffett's visit to Japan and overseas funds increasingly emerging as major shareholders in leading companies, the Japanese market and Japanese companies are attracting more attention than ever before from overseas investors. The market is attractive due to its low stock valuations and improving legal framework. The author, who has been an active investor in the United States for 40 years, unravels the future of the Japanese market by drawing parallels with the U.S. market in the 1980s.
