Born in Henan Province, China in 1982. Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology (now Tokyo University of Science). In 2008, while studying for a master's degree in Creative Informatics at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, University of Tokyo, he founded popIn Inc., a University of Tokyo-based venture based on his research findings in the popIn interface, with support from the University of Tokyo's venture investment fund, "University of Tokyo Edge Capital (UTEC)." In 2015, he merged with Chinese IT giant Baidu. In 2017, he developed "popIn Aladdin," the world's first 3-in-1 projector with integrated lighting. Over four years, the series has sold over 250,000 units, becoming an unprecedented hit. In April 2021, he founded issin Inc. In June of the same year, he developed the popIn Aladdin version of "Watermelon Game." In December, the Nintendo Switch software "Watermelon Game" was released, becoming a huge hit with over 12 million downloads. In April 2022, he released the "Smart Bath Mat," a bathroom scale that blends into everyday life. It was ranked second as a "stealth home appliance" in the "2023 Hit Prediction Ranking" in Nikkei Trendy (December 2022 issue). Over three years, it has surpassed 100,000 users. In August 2022, he stepped down as CEO of popIn Inc. to focus on the business of issin Inc.
