Abstract
Forty-somethings who never achieve anything, fifties who are "just old men and women," and sixties who "just exist and become a burden"—are you trying too hard to be a "good adult"?
This book helps the new generation of middle-aged and elderly people rebuild their "mental foundation" and work with hope.
Why is it so hard for the "new generation of middle-aged and elderly" living today?
・When giving someone advice, you preface it with "I know I might be a burden, but..."
・There are clothes you really want to wear but have to hold back on (rock T-shirts, hoodies, flashy patterns, etc.)
・Sometimes you feel overwhelmed by the difference between the adult image you had in your twenties and who you are now
・It's a little dazzling to recall the self-indulgent behavior of middle-aged and elderly people when you were young.
Today's "super middle-aged society" is a "super middle-aged society," where adults over 40 make up the majority of the population. Despite this, middle-aged and elderly people still feel out of place in the workplace. Breaking free from the unconscious shackles of "good adults" and rebuilding your own mental foundation, this book offers tips for working positively in the second half of your life.
