“Global IT conglomerate Halwin will be recruiting one psychic on the 1st of April, annual payment 80,000,000 yen”
Seven self-proclaimed “psychics” passing the initial interview are called together at 6:00pm on the 31st of March for the final test.
The test - Candidate #1 starts out with the letter confirming the job while the remaining 6 candidates will try to get hold of the letter using their psychic powers, and the candidate who is able to hand in the letter at midnight will be employed by Halwin.
College student Shinji Ichikura, hoping to find a job at Halwin and chosen as Candidate #7, has decided to team up with Candidate #4 Rui Hibino who is after the big money, but unexpectedly, the letter and the #1 spot falls into Shinji’s hands – literally.
Shinji and Rui are quickly mixed up in a fierce race with everyone after the one letter using their psychic powers - “foresight”, “vision”, “trade”, “fake” ... friends and foe switch rapidly, and it becomes impossible to predict who will come out as the winner.
