Abstract

You're the one who's least likely to recognize your own strengths. The key to change is to "ask someone."

"What are your strengths?" "What are you aiming for?" Surprisingly few people can answer these questions immediately. When preparing for a job interview or an internal career interview, you might try self-analysis, asking yourself, "What are my strengths?" and "What do I want to become?" But the answers just don't make sense, and your frustration grows.

Why is this? Most people think only within their own shell, ultimately going around in circles. They fall into negative thinking, "This way, that way," and are unable to step outside. It's incredibly difficult to think about what you're aiming for, identify your strengths, and set goals on your own.

Because you don't know yourself, you can't even decide on the goals you want to reach.

This is where "another person's perspective" can be a powerful tool. By adding an objective perspective from another person, you can often become aware of strengths you never thought of before.

This book explains to those who live with this kind of frustration on a daily basis one way of thinking about discovering a new self from the perspective of "others" and the key points to putting it into practice. From prerequisites, creating opportunities, and how to organize problems, the book explains the basics, starting with an approach that will make you think, "I can do this," and then introduces "Tanimoku," a workshop that the author has implemented and achieved many results. It provides a thorough explanation of practical methods for discovering a new self that anyone can do!
